The design team DEVILROBOTS from Japan was established in 1997 and lead by Art Director, Shinichiro Kitai. The team is involved in many aspects of art and design production, including graphic design, fashion, cartoon character sets, animation, and music creation. Art Director Kitai's most famous work, the To-Fu Oyako series, is loved by people all over the world. A series of Kubrick figures in collaboration with the Japanese trendy brand MEDICOM TOY establishes the To-Fu Oyako figure as one of the most trendiest designer toys in the market.
MERUHEN RIEKO
Japanese Illustrator
A new Japanese illustrator, MERUHEN RIEKO was born in Kobe and now lives in Osaka, Japan. She studied painting and visual art in her father's art class as a child and soon became an illustrator in 2012. She participates in various painting conferences and exhibitions whilst also attending art activities, workshops, and exhibitions at numerous kindergartens, elementary schools, and libraries in Japan. The Ribon Chan soft vinyl figure series is her first 3D project.
Thunder To-Fu Kun & Ribon Chan is a collaboration set to celebrate their 4th Anniversary.
- Kun means boys in Japanese and Chan means girls.
- They are 13cm tall and made of soft vinyl.
- Each set comes with both figures, TO-FU KUN & RIBON CHAN.
